Holt Eye Care
Holt Eye Care was founded in 2002 by husband-and-wife optometrists Dr. Brian Houser and Dr. Amy Cousineau with a simple vision: to create a practice where exceptional eye care is delivered in a friendly, community-focused environment. Over the years, that vision has grown into a trusted destination for comprehensive eye care for families throughout the Greater Lansing area.
Our doctors provide comprehensive eye exams and medical eye care for conditions including glaucoma, cataracts, macular degeneration, dry eye disease, diabetic eye disease, and other ocular health concerns. We also offer specialty services such as pediatric eye care, emergency eye care, custom contact lens fittings, and personalized eyewear solutions.
By investing in advanced diagnostic technology and the latest treatment options, we strive to provide the highest quality care for every patient.
As our practice continued to grow, Holt Eye Care expanded by welcoming the patients and teams from Spartan EyeCare and Draper Eyewear, allowing us to serve even more families while maintaining the personalized care our patients know and trust.
As Holt Eye Care enters its next chapter with Dr. Houser and Dr. Cousineau retiring from patient care in July 2026, we are honored to carry forward the tradition of compassionate, comprehensive eye care they established. Dr. Hall, Dr. Gomez, and Dr. Fox remain committed to providing the same thorough, personalized care our patients have come to expect.
Although they have retired from seeing patients, Dr. Houser and Dr. Cousineau continue to serve as owners of Holt Eye Care, focusing on the administrative side of the practice. Their ongoing leadership helps ensure we continue investing in premium technology, innovative treatment options, and an exceptional patient experience while thoughtfully growing to meet the evolving needs of our community.
